Please bring a journal or notebook and something to write with. A bible would be helpful too. There is some free time when you may want to walk in the grounds so please bring suitable footwear and clothing.

Would you like to grow in your faith by using writing to become nearer to God? As part of this exploration we will listen to the words of writers and try writing in various forms for ourselves. This isn’t a writing workshop where what we write is analysed and assessed by the group. What you write will be between you and God, and for you to share with others only if you wish.

Revd Ann Jepson is a retired priest in the Diocese of Blackburn and a Spiritual Director. She finds it helpful to use creative writing in her spiritual life and ministry.
