Quiet Day - Centering Prayer - the Roots and Practice

This quiet day is part of the Year of Contemplation 2026. It will introduce you to centering prayer, a form of contemplative prayer you can easily build into your own practice of worship and which is clearly grounded in the teachings on prayer of Jesus, the desert fathers and mothers and the life of the saints.

Lloyd Allen is a trained spiritual director and a member of the Vine Community. He has practised contemplative prayer for many years and has a special interest in teaching the Christian contemplative tradition.
